Purpose:
Add hover text to regular text in posts. Handy for providing explanations of names, terms, phrases, and acronyms mentioned in your blog.
How to add Hover Text to your post:
Go to Dashboard > Settings > Hover Text
In the Hover Text settings page you can customize the settings to namely to define the terms/abbreviations and their explanations.
Things to keep in mind:
- Define only one hovertext per line.
- Hovertexts must not span multiple lines.
- Don’t use HTML in the hovertext.
Here’s how the settings page looks like:
Once you’ve added the required definitions for abbreviations, and acronyms. You can use these words in your post. And when a mouse is hovered over them, you will see what it stands for.
